Back in the place to be y'all. I would be remisced if I did not mention R.I.P. to the queen Aretha Franklin who passed on at the age of 76. At the end of the episode we play her song, "Angel", link in the description. Back to the stories! This is the first episode that I read two stories, yes two in one outing.  C.G. Miller has a funny way of keeping you on the edge, making for a thriller that is sure to entice.

*Explicit Content* In this episode we have a new author, Joe Van Loon, "The Corpse That Went Boating".

I get so giddy on Friday's, and this one is no different.  First I have to say that you can download this book for free below! IT has over 50 short stories from 5 different countries. Seriously a gem that I stumbled upon.  Joe Van Loon is an author with special needs and admittedly has Bi-Polar disorder. Which does not at all detract from the stories but add to them.  "The Corpse that went boating" has a twist at the end which pauses you to rewind the episode to see if you caught what the author was trying to accomplish. I know I did! :)

Sit back, listen on your drive to work, take your shower, whatever the hell it is you find yourself doing - And ENJOY a new episode of Short...Story...Bingo!

*Explicit Content* In this episode we read a classic Sci-Fi story in, "The Terrible Old Man" by H.P. Lovecraft

H.P. Lovecraft is widely regarded as one of the most influential authors for Horror - Fiction and Sci-Fi. Admittedly this is my first story that I have read of his. Rest assured though I was intrigued beyond belief. This one takes a path down a dark corner that I was not expecting at all. It was a shorter story - go figure. Thank you all for the support, keep listening and catch up on older episodes to get a full view of what we are doing here. :)

*Explicit Content* In this episode we read about "The Ripper Crew" who unimpressively lived up to their moniker. This one is rough...seriously.

This one is heavy y'all. Very heavy. Robin Gecht, Edward Spreitzer, Andrew Kokoraleis, and Thomas Kokoraleis were a satanic crew that were convicted in court of at the very LEAST killing 18 women. The manner in which they went about their killings is in a disgusting animal approach.  Although a court determined the killings were not pre-meditated as you listen throughtout they can be concluded without a doubt that they were. This story is one that has made me think moreso about how vulnerable we can find ourselves and not whether serial killing is an anomoly. Crazy story...and even crazier characters!

*Explicit Content* In this episode we read a true classic in, "The Tale-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe.

The train keeps moving, I hope that you have your ticket. Episode 35 is here ladies and gents. I really wanted to read this story, like ten episodes ago. Mostly because re-reading it has been eating at me much like the sound of the heartbeat that plagued this mad man slash murderer.  Quite the tale actually. This man kills someone whom he openly admits that he doesn't hate, invites the cops into his house to investigate and - well I guess you will have to listen in order to get the rest of the story. I could read the works of Poe weekly and not be bored. But we will wait, in the meantime, "the Tell-Tale Heart" enjoy. :)

How have you all been? Reading more and more craziness? Or playing Fortnite until your thumbs bleed?  Either way I am happy you are here! Today I read a story that seemed like the pilot for the movie, "The Mummy" with Brendan Fraser. You can hear as I am reading that some parts get to me as more and more people involve themselves with the location of the remains of this mummy. *Note* The mummy is pretty important. You know I would love to tell you how it ends BUT, it wouldn't be right. I went solo on this mission and I know I came out alive. :)

*Explicit Content* In this episode I dug for a good Jason Voorhees story and I found one, "My Sacrifice"!

Happy Friday the 13th and podcast Friday to you. What would this self made spooky day be without one that had Jason Voorhees in it?  I searched for a story that had elements normally not associated with Jason, and the most glaring one would be simply - a love story.   The author - Skylar - really captured what Jason in love might remotely be like. Sure there are laughs but by the end I certainly was on the side of Jason, which...I must say does not happen often if ever haha! Nevertheless, I am happy to bring this authors work to the podcast!   Have a safe weekend, do ALL the things safely, and keep reading.

Happy Friday the 13th and podcast Friday to you.  Yes, this particular day always provides a good spook or two. In this case - literally two episodes for your beautiful asses and this being the first! Creepypasta continues to pump out gems, and this one does not fail - at all! This is a story that I found myself entranced in to the point of ACTUALLY having a bit of fear from the great picture being portrayed.  I thoroughly enjoyed this one from the start to finish. Alright, enough about the story. I want to thank all of YOU for making this podcast what it is by tuning in and demanding more, this would not be running if it were not for you all and I am beyond appreciative. *Explicit Content* In this episode we read a prison story from, "Strange Stories from Sing Sing"!

Happy #PodcastFriday everyone. I took two weeks off and I am back better than ever! So let's get to the meat and potatoes of this. I got a tiny ass book from my mother in law for Christmas as she knew about the podcast and wanted to give some content for us.  She hit a home run as this book is a rare original piece - Copyright 1934. I bring Mandy back for another go around to provide some laughs for the peanut gallery!  She chose a story about a criminal that is looking to plee his insanity to avoid the electric chair, the debauchery that ensues is hilarious and how it ends is even more classic.

*Explicit Content* In this episode I read out of, "Strange Happenings".

Let me be the first to tell you that I am ready to shake off the "holiday" rust.  How do I do that? Drop another Short Story Bingo episode.  I read today out of a book that I ONLY found on Amazon, which is only weird because I can normally find these books on Barnes and Nobles site.  In this episode we read about John Wilkes Booth, Jesse James, and Marshal Ney - and the men who claimed they were them in hiding years after they were reported dead. I did some research on this to give you all a better insight on these potential hoaxes.  With that in mind...Sit back, take a load off, or listen on your ride to work, take your shower, whatever activity you find yourself doing - ENJOY a new episode of Short...Story...Bingo!

*Explicit Content* In this episode I read out of, "Strange Twist of Fate".

It is that time again. Short Story Bingo is not slowing down with the material to deliver. This week is no different as we read from a true story of some paranormal phenomena! Time always tells how much we are working. That is why the new year of 2018 is so fun to look at with optimism. Thank you so much for listening on the revamp of the BEST podcast in the world.  In this episode I read about a specter that makes sure to let the family that inhabitates the house he could not leave that he has no intention of leaving soon.  While reading this I must admit that I had some memories pop up.  I know what it means to have an entity attach itself to you as I have expereinced it myself. This has been one helluva ride, and I can't wait for what the future holds. Happy New Year to all of you! This story will make you think about what is going on in your home and what thhat creak in the stari might be. Midway through I felt a chill in my spine, this runs the gammit of being a classic as it tip toes the line of being so real to touch.  With that in mind...Sit back, take a load off, or listen on your ride to work, take your shower, whatever activity you find yourself doing - ENJOY a new episode of Short...Story...Bingo!
